Hi all, per usual, I’m getting this month’s What I Wore post out much later then I wanted to. One day I swear I’ll stop feeling bad for getting this post out later then I planned. In the mean time, let’s get to it. Not sure about you but I have a lot of other things I should be doing besides shopping (#lyingbutnotlying). Also, it’s kind of nice to take a break from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale, too.
First off, the tank below I will proudly admit is a girl tanks. The reason I got it was because it had everything I was looking for AND it fit. So, why wouldn’t I buy it, right??! I was in a local boutique and was looking through the tops for my daughter (as if she even possibly needed another top – she’s only 9!) and once I laid my eyes on the pretty blue one, the pineapple and the word LOVE, I was SOLD. Sadly, it’s only available in girls sizes and I am wearing the biggest size. #dontcare
Tank – similar, similar, similar (all adult sizes) | Jeans (mine are from 2 years ago and they must be popular if they’re still available!) | Shoes | | Bracelets (Note: the styles change a lot on the site but I love them all!) | Necklace – old Stella & Dot
Not my favorite outfit of all time but showing it because the white tank is very versatile and comes in other colors. It’s great for layering, which I ended up doing this night. I threw a jacket over it at the last minute and walked out the door.
How funny is my face here? No clue why I look so bored! Or what I was going to do.
I was lucky enough to get out to lunch one Saturday with a girlfriend that was in town. So, naturally, it felt like the perfect time to finally wear this adorable dress and my favorite wedges (see my post here about the dress and similar options). PS My hair looks odd here, right? I know I was pretty tired.
These shorts are a new pair this year for me. I wanted an easy throw on pair that went with a solid tank and were versatile – dress up or down. This pair fit the bill. Honestly, I don’t always like how looser shorts make my thighs look but I try not to obsess about it because sometimes it’s all in your own head, right? For this pair, I got over it.
All dressed up with somewhere to go – a charity event!
Off to enjoy the beach some more with the family!
