What I Wore – June 2016

Sigh……June seemed like such a long month to me. Maybe it was finishing up school, going to the beach for a weekend with a girlfriend, to having 2 weeks of “camp mommy” which included a fun visit from my sis in law and niece and an outing to the Turkey Hill Factory in Pennsylvania, to the girls finally starting camp. (YES!!!!). Either way, it finally felt like summer!

Day out and about including my daughter’s first orthodontist consultation. Still trying to wrap my head around how young they start now (she’s almost 8) compared to when I was growing up but good news is she doesn’t need anything YET. Oh, and this outfit I loved but was actually COLD in the tank and had to change later in the day.

I had no clue how many times in the month I wore the Aurora Stella & Dot necklace but when I saw these pictures, I almost laughed at myself. Clearly I’m a fan of it. Also realized that I wore all Stella & Dot jewelry this month and nothing else. Kind of funny!

On a separate note, I’ve been thinking about whether to mention this or not. I realize my posts (and the blog) are not polished in that I’m not outside posing in a beautifully inspiring outfit and all the pictures are edited nicely. But, the reality is that I don’t have a fancy camera yet nor a person (or tripod) to take pictures of me. I also don’t always have the time to do as much as I’d like with it in general. Yes, these are goals of mine but this wee little blog is my hobby NOT my job. So I hope one day to build the blog to look more and more polished and professional and ultimately for my posts to be pulled together in a different way but this is my reality. I do what I can with what I have. I hope you understand and keep stopping by to check out my posts.

XO,

Mysignature
