July’s What I Wore has a few of my favorite pieces so far this Summer, some of which you may have seen me wear already in my What I Wore posts from May and June. They include a pair of sandals, a pair of shorts, and 2 new pairs of wedges.
The month went by fast, I have to say. We enjoyed July 4th, some date nights, I got away for 2 days to the beach with a girlfriend and then my family’s annual vacation at the beach a few days later. Oh yeah, and my birthday in the middle! I don’t have pictures from all these events since some of the items I wore were on major repeat so I am just showing my favorites from the month.
Here we go….
Sunday night adult only BBQ
Random day of errands, and PTA Board Meeting
Some Summer days call for a maxi dress, especially if you were too lazy or didn’t have time to shave and you have a PTA board meeting that evening 😉
Dress – mine is old but I love this one by Devlin!
Lunch with a girlfriend
My husband and I got out one night for sushi and thai rolled ice cream. Have you had rolled ice cream yet? It’s very interesting and honestly, it looks cooler then it tastes. Ha! Basically, don’t expect it to taste like regular creamy rich ice cream!
Casual dinner out with the family
Random Day Again
Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
I wore this simple outfit to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale because I wanted a top to layer, a good pair of jeans to try on sweaters or blouses with and a simple pair of flip flops because I knew I’d be trying on boots/booties or heels (I threw some socks in my purse just in case)
So this date night was very last minute and limited on time because one of my daughter’s had a birthday party on a Saturday night so we couldn’t be out too late. Of course, we ended up shopping at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale for my husband (best buy we got for him was this) and then had a casual stop in at a favorite Mexican restaurant for a quick bite after
LIVE PODCAST SHOW
One Sunday afternoon, I went with a few girlfriends to see the live podcast of Bitch Sesh, a Real Housewives breakdown (and a favorite of mine!) and some dinner after
Spent my morning at the Modern Mompreneur networking event. Loved the topic – SEO!
Day at the beach
Dinner at the beach
Totally improvised this outfit and didn’t know exactly how it looked when I walked out the door because there is no full length mirror in the house we stay at so this mirror, by the bathroom, was the first glimpse I got of how I truly looked. Haha!
That’s all for July. Happy shopping!
