What I Wore – December 2015

WhatIWoreDec_2015_2For the most part, December wasn’t that exciting of a month clothes-wise. I know a lot of people have holiday parties, family parties, and New Year’s Eve they dress up for but now that my husband is self-employed, I’m mainly a SAHM or working and blogging from home, I have 2 children 7 and under and my family celebrates the holidays with a brunch. So…… there isn’t much to really get too dressed up for. Oh, and did I mention we had an unseasonably warm December? So I wasn’t decked out in too many sweaters just yet (don’t get me started about our current temps as I write this).

Here are some of my outfits from the month that I mainly was wearing to run around doing errands, meeting a girlfriend for coffee and a little bit of shopping, etc. and what I (and my sister) wore to our family holiday brunch. Sorry for the weird angles, funny faces, etc. It’s hard taking your own pics and not looking awkward!

Rainy day attire – Jeans | Boots (mine are dark green in case you can’t tell) | Shirt (old Cloth & Stone, similar) | Jacket (mine is actually a deep blue Andrew Marc from Costco (!) bought back in October/November but it’s sold out so here is a similar one in a longer version)

Tank | Cardigan | Jeans (although mine aren’t the high rise version, they are the same brand and similar wash) | Shoes (no exact link to my pair but they are Toms ‘Nepal’ from the kids dept at Nordstrom, here is link to them in black, similar would be Uggs like these or maybe these)| Necklace

Laid back date night with my husband – Jeans | Top (mine may be the Bowery version but closest version now seems to be called “Modern”) | Vest (mine is from last winter, similar here) | Shoes | Necklace

A few of my favorites (did a post about them all here) – Jeans | Sweater (old – similar) | Shoes | Necklace | Purse

Apparently I wasn’t very enthused taking this picture.

Headed to see my girlfriend to check out the Keep Collective jewelry line before hosting a “Social” at my house (see post about it here) – Jeans | Top | Shoes |Earrings (I am wearing an “R” and an “L”)

Running errands – Jeans (old – similar) | top (old – similar| shoes (a favorite!!)| Necklace #1 (old – similar)| Necklace #2 | Earrings | Bracelet (old, white mesh gold stretch bracelet with pave heart from jeweler – similar)

Top | Jeans | Shoes | Necklace #1 (old – similar) | Necklace #2

Cold Saturday of not doing much other then going to a kids class and the movies with my daughters – Jeans | Top | Shoes (I also debated about pairing this outfit with the Toms in the pic above)

Happy shopping!
