Pura Vida bracelets – new favorite

I first learned about Pura Vida bracelets from Instagram when I saw an ad for their adorable Pineapple Clutch (considered one of their “Best Sellers“). It just screamed SUMMER and I had to have it. img_1511

I purchased it over the summer and it came with a free bracelet. Mine that came was this orange ‘Original’. I used the clutch over the summer for various things and came to realize that I also loved the bracelet.

I was smitten with the bracelet because I am a HUGE fan of adjustable bracelets since my wrist is so small. But what really made me want to buy more was that the quality (light weight waxed rope), the fact that they come in all sorts of fun colors and styles, and the price of each bracelet is completely reasonable so you can buy a few at a time without breaking the bank. So, one day this Fall I took the plunge and ordered a few different bracelets.

Let me tell you it was really hard to decide which to go with. They have different collections some of which are Originals, Style Packs (i.e. stacks), Seed Beads, Charms, Charity, Braided, Studded and a monthly club. I started by deciding on a color scheme – blue for me since I wear it a lot. And then decided I wanted different styles to go with that color scheme.

I went with (from L to R): the Arctic Chiller, Indigo Braided, Dark Grey Studded (Grey seems to be sold out so link is to black but other colors available) and Berry Cute (bottom picture). By the way, if you need any help deciding, they have a link to shop their Instagram.

Ordering is easy. They have some savings offerings you can take advantage of including $10 off when you spend $60 and free shipping over $25.

Also, if you weren’t just happy with the bracelets, it’s nice to know the company, based in Costa Rica, is also into giving back, which is why they started the Charity Collection and have donated money to various charities around the world.

Happy shopping!
