Last week I had this one day that I put my outfit together and realized that it was pretty much an outfit full of my “favorites.” Here’s a quick picture I took and the details about the items.
Top – This is a sweater by Trouve from Nordstrom purchased during the 2014 Anniversary Sale. It is the perfect lightweight wool sweater, has a little detail in the stitching, and is perfectly loose. I loved it so much I bought it in gray, too. While it’s obviously no longer available, there are some similar versions in the store now by Trouve. Check them out here, here (on sale!) and here.
Jeans – This is a pair of gray jeans by Citizens of Humanity. They are still available in some stores now even though I purchased them a long time ago, or the high rise version is around here. They are by far one of my favorite pairs of jeans because they are so ridiculously comfortable. Here are a few other similar options – Hudson, Paige (Ripped), or Joe’s. I usually wear my gray jeans with black or white but occasionally I mix it up with pink or navy.
Shoes – I’m a big fan of Yosi Samra ballet flats because they make cute styles and the price of each pair is extremely reasonable. I have done a few posts that have included my snake skin ones a few times but this is the same snake skin pair just in plain black. What’s not to love?!
Necklace – I have also worn this Stella & Dot necklace in quite a few different outfit posts before (seen here and here). It’s a long silver chain with a wishbone charm. It’s lightweight and simple and that’s why I wear it a lot.
Purse – This was a purse by Rebecca Minkoff I started eyeing a few months ago. I finally grabbed it during the Saks Friends & Family sale and had my husband hold on to it until Hanukkah to give to me as a present. It is a soft leather with studs, which adds a nice update to a simple black tote. And it’s not heavy at all. BTW, don’t judge about picking out my own present – girl has to do what a girl has to do to make sure she gets what she wants. haha.
Tank – The tank I’m wearing under my sweater is by Feel the Piece. I bought it from a local boutique a summer ago because I love a good racer back tank in the summer. Recently, I have found myself wearing it all year round because it is just so darn comfortable. I can’t find the exact one but this one is really similar and so is this one. So is this one but it’s by Halogen.
Hope I’m not the only one who finds themselves accidentally wearing a bunch of their favorites together. 😉
